What is Spamalot the Musical?
Lovingly “ripped off” from the classic film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is a Tony Award–winning parody musical that mixes outrageous comedy with all the glitter of Broadway.
The story follows King Arthur and his trusty servant Patsy as they set out on a quest to find the Holy Grail. Along the way, they’re joined by a less-than-perfect band of knights:
- Sir Galahad the Pure
- Sir Bedevere the Brains
- Sir Robin the Not-Quite-As-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot
- And Sir Lancelot (who, frankly, is just hot).
Add in the glamorous Lady of the Lake, her sassy Laker Girls, and obstacles like the Knights Who Say Ni, the Black Knight, and even a killer rabbit – and you’ve got a hilariously chaotic journey you won’t forget.
