My Fair Lady

My Fair Lady is a beloved musical that tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a spirited Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a pompous phonetics professor who takes on the challenge of transforming her into a refined lady. Set in Edwardian London, the story explores themes of class, identity, and transformation through witty dialogue and memorable songs like “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and *”I Could Have Danced All Night.”

Director - Kate Felts

Kate, a long-time member of TMMTC since age nine, studied Creative and Performing Arts at Liverpool Hope University, specializing in devising theatre. Having directed several youth productions, this marks her directorial debut with the company, which she has thoroughly enjoyed, especially collaborating with adults on this iconic show.

Musical Director - Sandra Tebbutt

Sandra joined TMMTC at 17, starting as a pit musician before taking leading roles in productions like The King and I, Hello Dolly, Fiddler on the Roof, and My Fair Lady in 1999. Now a Musical Director for TMMTC and other Leicestershire companies, she finds revisiting My Fair Lady with a new creative team both challenging and thrilling, and thanks everyone for their dedication to this production.

Choreographer - Victora Adams

Victoria, an MA graduate from the University of Nottingham and primary school teacher, began dancing at seven, training in styles such as Ballroom, Latin, Ballet, and more. Since 2010, she has been involved with TMMTC, returning post-COVID to choreograph her second show, following her 2017 debut with Made in Dagenham.
