We’re excited to announce our next production at TMMTC – Footloose, hitting the stage at Melton Theatre from 7th–10th October.
Packed with high-energy dance numbers, unforgettable music, and a story full of heart, Footloose promises to be an electrifying show that will have audiences on their feet. Following the incredible success of We Will Rock You, we can’t wait to bring this much-loved musical to our community.
Leading the production team is Director Jak Beasley, supported by Assistant Director JoJo Helstrip. Musical direction comes from James Barlow, ensuring all those iconic songs are brought to life, while choreography by Katherine Vernon will have the stage bursting with energy and movement.
Set in a small town where dancing has been banned, Footloose follows Ren McCormack as he challenges the status quo and inspires a community to rediscover joy, freedom, and self-expression. With hit songs including “Footloose,” “Let’s Hear It for the Boy,” and “Holding Out for a Hero,” it’s a show full of feel-good moments and powerful storytelling.
